Slips, Half Slips and Underskirts
Sort by
You want your clothes to hang properly, not cling to your legs, and the hem to stay where it should. That is what slips are for.
Two things are worth separating first. A full slip is essentially an underdress — a slip on straps, worn from the shoulders. A half slip starts at the waist and functions as an underskirt. Both go under dresses and skirts to stop static, reduce transparency where that matters, improve how a garment sits, and smooth the line underneath.
We carry both, from established Polish makers, in seamless and shaping versions, dense and fine, loose and close-fitting, plain and lace-trimmed, from the smallest sizes to the most generous. We ship worldwide from our warehouse in Poland.
The fabrics
Everything in this section is cut from breathable, opaque, smooth fabric:
- Silky stretch microfibre.
- Good-quality cotton.
- Soft, fluid viscose.
- Stretch jersey.

Half slips
Short half slips with flat seams, and seamless versions. Straight or lightly fitted, with a soft elasticated waist, invisible under clothing. These are for short dresses and skirts above the knee.
Long half slips in a simple classic cut, with a soft elasticated waistband. The right choice if you wear long dresses or midi and maxi skirts.
Shaping half slips — seamless smoothing versions that flatten the stomach, firm the hips and refine the waist. Worth knowing: firm control is designed for an evening rather than for wearing all day.
Slip shorts, in two versions: a flared, longer cut, and loose short ones. Wear them under wide trousers, or under skirts, dresses and pinafores in place of a conventional half slip.
Half slips in larger sizes, long and short. And the shorts version, which does the same job while also preventing chafing on the inner thigh — for many women that is the main reason to buy one.
Full slips
Seamless full slips — completely smooth short chemises on fine adjustable straps, invisible under clothing. Worn as an underdress beneath anything sheer or close-fitting, including shirts and blouses.
Shaping full slips — smoothing underdresses on detachable straps. They even out the line, hold the stomach and hips gently, define the waist and clean up the silhouette. Indispensable for an occasion when you want a dress to sit perfectly, and ideal under close-fitting clothing with bare shoulders, since they can be worn strapless. Like all firm shaping, they are made for a few hours rather than a whole day.
Full slips with a built-in bra — underwired, with wide or fine adjustable straps and a back fastening like an ordinary bra. Mid-length, flaring slightly towards the hem, and rather beautiful. They are also comfortable to sleep in, which is why plenty of women use them as a nightdress.
Lace full slips — short and mid-length, trimmed with openwork lace, fine guipure or micromesh at the neckline, along the sides, on the built-in cups or at the hem.
Warm full slips in brushed cotton, for the colder months. Semi-fitted, with a camisole-style top on wide straps and a round neckline. More cold-weather pieces are in warm underwear.
Full slips in larger sizes — loose and shaping, classic and dressier, long and short. Look in particular at the styles with soft underwired cups, which give a fuller bust the support it needs and draw it towards the centre. More of those are in plus size bras.
If you are after something more revealing, look at the sheer chemises, peignoirs and robes, babydolls and lace sets in erotic lingerie.
To complete the set, you can add matching bras, briefs, camisoles, suspender belts and accessories. The newest styles are in New.
Colours
Slips come mostly in plain shades, light and dark. The main photograph usually shows the most popular options — white, black and nude. Where a style comes in other colours, you will see them in the product photographs: yellow, powder, blue, pink, flesh, green and red.
Prices
The range covers both ends. The most affordable are the simple, unadorned styles, mostly short ones. The dearer are shaping and seamless pieces, slips with a built-in bra, and anything trimmed with lace. Whatever the price, the fabric and the finish are consistent across the range — and it is worth watching our sales.
Common questions
What do slips actually do
Skirts and dresses worn over them hang better, do not ride up, do not tangle between the legs and do not build up static. They also keep clothing off the skin where the fabric is uncomfortable, and reduce transparency in anything you can see through.
How long should a slip be
To keep it from showing when you bend, choose one at least two inches shorter than the garment it goes under.
Which one should I choose
It depends what you want from it. For a smoother line, choose a shaping style; under anything sheer, choose nude; under close-fitting clothing, seamless; in winter, something denser; in summer, something fine.
What are they made from
Mostly smooth, fluid fabrics. In practice that means viscose, silk, satin, polyamide and elastane.
Where is the best place to buy one
Online, as a rule — the range is wider than in most shops, the prices are lower, and there are usually offers running.
